The National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai holds the enchanting collection of the works of a painter who has been a professor at the College of Arts for many years. While K. R Narayanan was the President of India, he painted the president’s portrait . Many of his works which are stored in India and abroad.
Reputable institutions praised his artwork. Pramodbabu Ramteke is a well-known painter. His incredible
journey of 50 years from 1921 to 1979 is overwhelming for his audience. From the golden jubilee year of Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Day till today, A photograph of Babasaheb Ambedkar is being published in many government offices, important magazines, books, special issues and government documents. In
fact, it is a painting and even the scholars are curious about its embodiment. Many magazines while using this photograph as their covers respectively have mentioned Pramodbabu as a world renowned artist from Nagpur who painted Ambedkar. His exhibition at NGMA titled Bodhisattva starts from this
magnificent painting . This is the only painting by Pramodbabu on which he has not signed himself. By signing that painting, he does not want to claim ownership of the painting, which underscores his cultural and social profound artistic awareness.
